Tire Rotations

Rotating your tires regularly is the best way to extend the life of the tires. Each time you present your vehicle for service, we will ask you if you have had your tires rotated within the last oil change. A great rule of thumb is to rotate your tires about every 5,000-7,500 miles, which with today’s factory filled synthetic oils, that is basically at every oil change. Luckily for our customers, with our inground pad lifts, we can perform a tire rotation at the same time as changing your motor oil. We typically can get your tires rotated adding no extra time to your service with a full staff and teamwork. Unlike full-service repair garages or dealerships, we have multiple technicians working on your vehicle at the same time. After rotating the tires, we properly torque the lug nuts down based upon manufacturer’s recommendations. Then, we have an in-house safety check prior to lowering the vehicle back down to the ground, ensuring all four tires are seeded properly back on the hub and tightened all the way down. Replacing tires is one of the most expensive maintenance costs of a vehicle. This is as important as changing your engine oil. At each oil change, we will always check and inflate your tires to the proper PSI which is also critical to even tread wear. We will perform a courtesy brake inspection as well while the tires are off. If we notice that the brake pads are getting low, our trained and certified technicians will make that note on your invoice. Fortunately, unlike many quick lubes, we have an additional bay dedicated to replacing brake pads and rotors. Our competitive prices will be sure to provide even more convenience to you as our customer, to have your brakes replaced at Carolina Quick Lube if needed. So, please understand that when we ask if you are caught up on rotating your tires, we are simply looking out for the safety and overall condition of your vehicle. If you do not wish to have your tires rotated, we will make a note in our system and check with you again at your next service. Many tire dealers offer free tire rotations when you purchase tires from them, so be sure to take advantage of that great offer if you have the time. Like most of us, time is money, and we can rotate your tires for $20 and have you back on the road in no time! No appointment needed, just pull onto our lot and we will be happy to rotate your tires as fast as you can say CAROLINA QUICK LUBE! Well, okay, maybe not that fast!
